GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering important project requirements and compiling them into documents that developers, shareholders and managers can use. This individual must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements.
  • Own and develop the relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration.
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes.
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team.
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
  • Perform GAP analysis to determine whether business requirements are being met and, if not, what steps should be taken to ensure they are met successfully.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues and/or trends, and provide sound recommendations for appropriate action.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to effectively present data and other findings, conclusions and recommendation to interested parties with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Intermediate knowledge in generating process documentation.
  • Proficiency with Confluence and/or Jira.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Technology or related field, required.
  •  Four (4) years of experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance, required.
  •  Two (2) years of experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools, required.
