The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager supports Managed Care Department (MCD) projects across contracts and ensures the testing and quality of software development project deliverables. He/she will oversee the testing phase and reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. Strong working knowledge of SAS, Tableau, R or SPSS is a must. QA manager will also develop knowledge of Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Information Systems Capabilities Assessment (ISCA) interviews, review and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Superior analytical and writing skills, with the ability to present data findings, both orally and in writing, to interested parties with varying technical backgrounds. Experience in software development and testing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer technology and programming languages. SAS programming experience and proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal software developers and external customers and other interested parties with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet contract deliverables.
  • Great team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  •  Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, public administration, public policy, public health, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of programming language experience related to data manipulation and reporting. Knowledge of SAS is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. Experience with Tableau reporting is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a managed care environment preferred.
  • Experience in software development testing is a plus.
